Jinki and Taemin still remember their first date and the rollercoaster of emotions they went through. There had been curiosity. (“What would his apartment look like? Would he be dressing differently today for our date?”) The waiting, that seemed to take up an endless amount of time. (“Is it time already? — Oh no wait, still 15 more minutes.”) The constant anticipation. (“Maybe he and I would—”) The hard work they had put in preparing each other’s gifts. (“Would he like this? Bet he would…”) The hesitation that Jinki felt right before knocking on Taemin’s door. (“Oh God, what if he thinks I’m lame… It’s not too late to save myself from embarrassment. But—I really wants this.”) And the utter satisfaction Taemin felt when a simple knock on the door relieved him from the waiting. (“Finally!”)
